  • Alight Solutions

    Senior Software Engineer

    May 2024 - Present

    Developed, tested, and launched the Alight Worklife for Microsoft Teams application, supported client onboarding, and collaborated on feature requests with client teams. Led development on Spring-based microservices using DynamoDB and Apache Kafka, and implemented Spotify Backstage during a hackathon, later evolving it into a fully supported internal developer portal with React and Tailwind.

    June 2022 - May 2024

    Developed and optimized a federated cloud service using Nest.js, Apollo GraphQL, and AWS, integrating core microservices and improving GraphQL resolver performance by up to 22% through refactoring and testing. Led cross-platform SDK efforts by building a Node.js NPM package, collaborating with web and mobile teams, and mentoring new engineers each quarter to support consistent adoption and team growth.
